Panelized Construction

Panelized construction is a type of building construction that results in wood-frame structures covered with formed sheet steel. These structures serve a variety of building and shelter needs from commercial offices to mini-warehouses to churches to agricultural buildings. Clear span trusses are manufactured, and siding and roofing are formed and cut from rolled steel. These components, together with the necessary pre-cut lumber, doors, and trim material, are loaded onto semi-trailers and delivered to the buyer's site. In most cases, vendor personnel erect the preassembled components on-site.

These shelter products include post-frame agricultural and commercial buildings, factory-built panelized housing, modular homes, and HUD Code manufactured homes. Some buildings are sold as material-only packages.
